Ralph left this very positive review of BlueHost. He moved to them from Netfirms and seems to like the tech support at BlueHost a lot better.
I moved some of the sites that I manage from Netfirms in Toronto to Blue Host. Netfirms is even cheaper that Blue Host. However, I was having a lot of problems with tech support. It has been well over a year now and I have 8 sites supported at Blue Host. I did experience some of the problems that James describes, but we worked through them and minimized the negative impact. Of course, I would have preferred that they didn't happen, but overall I am very satisfied with Blue Host support. I always keep in mind that this is the technical world where many highly intelligent but naive techies believe that their experience in the only experience. Their way is the supremo way. It is simply not the case and reminds me of all the old religious wars over operating systems and geography in the middle east. In my experience, over the long haul, Blue Host has delivered.
