BlueHost Review by NucleocidePositive Review of BlueHost Shared Hosting from 1-8-07Nucleocide has had a few problems with BlueHost but overall he says he is very happy, here is what he had to say:
One thing that I don't like is that a sub domain on a secondary domain gets listed physically under the primary domain instead of the secondary domain. Their cPanel install is slightly modified as compared to other hosts. I've got no WHM but that doesn't matter too much since I'm the only human using the four domains. I'd like to host for a friend as well however I'm not prepared to give up cPanel credentials. Before having signed up with bluehost, I went on the live chat and asked if there were size limits on the databases. The site mentioned there is a 50 database limit, but didn't mention any size limitations. I was assuming this was calculated into overall size limits but wanted to make sure. I asked the rep what the size limit was and he replied 50MB. Turns out he was wrong and was confusing size limit with number of database limit as I had assumed. Going strong at 200MB. I'll continue using bluehost and go as far as to recommend them to others. |
