No warning at all, was told that they were moving to a new building when I called customes support on two of the outages, but that does not explain at all the other outages. I have had 68 service outages since I transfered to Bluehost (a little over two months). Also it seems that while they have had a boom in the number of customers, they are slow to add more servers and upgrade their equipment, My box in particular (box197) shows an extremely heavy load a lot of the times, and the server response slows to a crawl. I am being as patient as I can, as I know that it does take a little time to do upgrade and expand to keep up with demand, but a notice of things that are going on would help out a lot. One of the reasons that I chose Bluehost is that it is an American company, based here and owned by an American, and the features are great. Once they get their dependability issues taken care of and keep up with upgrading their servers to a reasonable number of hosts on eah server they will be great. |
