Bluehost - clearly the best entry&beginner&medium-level hosting company out there.

I've tried about 6 hosting companies, and bluehost clearly leads the pack. I've been with them for over a year now, and have nothing to complain about, especially given the price.

People with "spiky" sites (short powerful bursts of hits) should however be aware of the caps the servers have. Once your account uses more than 30 pct of the server, further requests are denied.

In figures, they offer incredible amounts of host space and traffic at good-to-very-good bandwidth.

Customer care is also good, they're clearly not the fastest or the most polite, but they eventually get the job done.

All in all, incredible hosting conditions at a symbolic price. This sort of hosting, at another trustworthy (btw very hard to find) company would cost you in the hundreds/month.
